Dr Edward Bach, an eminent  Harley Street doctor and bacteriologist and homeopath developed the flower essences over 70 years ago. He had a deep sensitivity and discovered 38 essences/remedies which cover all known negative states of mind.

 

His medical studies and research led him to understand that much of our ill health has its origin in our mental and emotional state, rather than in the physical body.

 

 

 

Bach Flower Remedies are based on the principle of "treating the person not the disease".

 

They can be taken by people of all ages. Animals and plants also can benefit from this treatment.

 

 

           

 

The 38 flower essences are infusions of wild flowers, bushes and trees and are not like other medicines. They are best described as a type of liquid energy, a vibrational medicine which works in a similar way to Homeopathy. They help to balance emotions and moods and transform negative feelings, such as fear, uncertainty, loneliness, into more positive ones. By treating the emotions and emotional states our physical health can improve, restoring harmony and happiness in mind, body and spirit.

These time-tested remedies are a simple, natural, safe, non habit forming, gentle form of healing.

 

Bach Flower Remedies have become widely available and extensively used throughout the world. They can be used alongside other therapies and do not interfere with other medications and treatments.

 

My aim is to assist and support the client and to help them recognise behavioural patterns and responses to situations, strengths and weaknesses, which if unchecked, can affect health and happiness.

 

A bottle of flower remedy can be selected for the presenting emotional state of the client. The treatment bottle can contain up to seven essences and the normal dosage is four drops, four times a day.
